Announcement    I create glass that is one of a kind. There is no plan, I create as I work. Each piece is unique and none are perfect. It is the imperfections that make things truly handmade. I like to work mostly with mosaics and other geometric patterns. I love bright colors, animals, and art of all kinds. All of these things influence my work.

I am a retired certified veterinary technician. In addition to creating my glass, I currently run my own pet-sitting business, Windy Sitting. I have a BA in studio art from NEIU, and I am a current member/studio assistant at Chicago Glass Collective. I have been working with glass for the past 10 years. I have sold and shipped pieces nationwide. I love when my art makes someone happy!

I take requests for custom pieces utilizing color themes of preference, as well as shapes, or specific animals. I can also do customized pet portraits.

Dishes are not tested for food safety. Not all glass is smooth, some like Irid, or Dichroic can have texture, and therefore are not recommended for use with unwrapped food items. Hand wash only. Items are not oven, dishwasher or microwave safe. This is art glass.

Each listing includes pictures with everyday items to give a sense of size. The dimensions are also listed in the description. Please take note of the descriptions to know what you will be receiving. Dichroic glass is the very brightly colored, shiny glass used in some pieces. Irid glass has a frosty rainbow like appearance. Both of these types of glass can have some texture. Items can also have texture from being fused at different temperatures. A tack fused item will have texture where a full fused item will be smooth.

Due to the weight of the additional glass, hanging of frames is not recommended. If you choose to hang on the wall use extra nails/hooks/3M strips to support the additional weight. Check often for signs of separation and reinforce the frame backing if needed.

Feel free to contact me directly with any questions prior to placing your order. I do not cover the cost of returns. I also won't accept a return if it arrives back broken. Because of this I want you to know what you are getting before you order.

Postage costs are for priority 2-3 day mail service. This is more expensive, but the safest option when shipping such fragile merchandise. Items also require larger packaging to allow for sufficient padding. This is the only shipping option, standard shipping is NOT available.

Local pick up is sometimes available in the Chicagoland area.
